Calvert Honored at MFEA Star Awards

Receives eleven awards for mutual fund communications and community investment

October 29, 2009     Bethesda, MD     Calvert, a leader in sustainable and responsible investing (SRI), received the Mutual Fund Education Alliance’s (MFEA) community investment award on October 21, 2009. Calvert also received a Star Award for overall excellence in advisor communications in the medium-sized company category, as well as nine additional category awards honoring specific achievements in retail and advisor communications, including best retail communication in response to the economic crisis for a total of eleven awards.

The STAR Awards are presented annually by the Mutual Fund Education Alliance, a national mutual fund industry trade association, and have become a prestigious recognition of companies in the fund industry who excel at marketing, education and communications for shareholders, advisors and plan participants. Top awards for outstanding overall communications were presented, as well as awards for achievement in specific categories, based on a company’s assets under management.
